LICEUL TEORETIC CONSTANTIN NOICA SIBIU
Our high school has a tradition going back to 1912 when in the current building there used to be a Catholic school. There were courses for training nurses. The courses at that time were taught in Hungarian and German. Only after 1918 the classes with Romanian teaching appeared.
Our school worked on this pattern until 1948 when the communist regime changed it into a state school maintaining its medical profile.
In 1976 the medical school became high school and again maintaing its medical profile.
Since 1999 our high school has been known as CONSTANTIN NOICA THEORETICAL HIGH SCHOOL, the name being given after a famous national philosopher. Ever since our high school has worked on two levels:
Theoretical High School (4 years daily attendance / 331 students) and Post High School Medical Studies (3 years daily attendance / 94 students) which trains graduate high school students for becoming nurses.

Humanities:
Philology
Philology– Intensive English
Sciences:
Mathematics – Computer Science
Natural Sciences
Natural Sciences – Intensive English.
